Anterior Pituitary Hormone

*A major organ of the endocrine system, the anterior pituitary, also called the adenohypophysis, is the glandular, anterior lobe of the pituitary gland. The anterior pituitary regulates several physiological processes including stress, growth, and reproduction.
*Hormone secretion from the anterior pituitary gland is regulated by hormones secreted by the hypothalamus. .*Hypothalamus center of the central nervous system.
*Major hormones secreted: Growth Hormone (GH), Prolactin, Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH),  Luteinizing Hormone (LH).

"How great is our God... He has chosen us to live in this  beautiful world."

Life is the best gift from God. We must value it :)

Oh dear adenohypophysis, life is not complete without you
‘Cause the development in my growth and production, only produced by you

Reminds me the day when you are gone.
That will be the day, my depression pound

For a time comes, without your secretion of prolactin, how terrible the life is,
To a woman who cannot produced milk for her babies

And for the teenagers, there are no such men or women
If the releaser of gonadal hormones for the development our body are not functioning even
For God creates a man
For your growth hormone develops every organ

That`s not only you can do, `cause you have also thyroid and adrenocorticotrophic hormones too.
When these stimulate can help our body too.

That`s how important you to me,
And I promise that I would take care of you.

Endocrinology, Toxicology and Drug Testing

It's so hard for me to do a blog, and this is my first time to write in a blog site.  Honestly, In this kind of assignment/project, I thought it will be hard for me to do but in Gods will, I MADE IT!!! It took me a several hour to make my assignment successful. Thanks GOD :)

Still on the month of MAY and yet Au revoir summer :D Hello school, and as for our first assignment in CC03: Define Endocrinology, Toxicology and Drug Testing.

  •  Endocrinology- is the care of patients who have problems related to glands of the body such as thyroid and pituitary gland. It produce hormones which goes directly into the blood stream. It is the second controlling system of the body.In this topic we will be more familiarized about different diseases or disorders on the different glands present in our body.

  • Toxicology- is the science of POISON, including not only their physical and chemical effects but also their detection and antidote. Toxicity is the ability of a substance to produce injury upon reaching a susceptible site in or on the body. Substances are ranked according to a system of toxicity ratings used to indicate their relative hazard:
      1. No toxicity- for materials that cause no harm under condition of normal use or that produce toxic effects only because of overwhelming dosage or unusual conditions.
      2. Moderate toxicity- for materials producing moderate effects on skin or other organs of the body from either acute or chronic exposure.
      3. Severe toxicity- for materials that threaten life or cause permanent physical impairment or disfigurement from such exposure.

        • Drug Testing- is used to test past or recent intake of prohibited drugs. In this kind of testing we can use several specimens this include hair, saliva, blood, urine, etc.  Last year there was a drug testing in our town, randomly. That  made me scared!!! hahaha! This test is important to determine if you're taking prohibited drugs.
